The Figos
The Figos is a large spacious converted hay barn – sleeping up to 9
This property is set in an outstanding position at the entrance to the village. It has been lovingly restored to a beautiful holiday home which is fully equipped with everything we hope you would need for a perfect winter or summer holiday.
It has the benefit of a double-sided log fire between the farmhouse kitchen/dining room and sitting room.
There are 4 bedrooms as follows:
Casa do Figo
Bed 1 (downstairs) with twin beds (the beds can be joined to make a King bed if preferred)
Bed 2 (downstairs with en-suite shower) with King bed (this can be separated into twin beds if preferred)
Bed 3 (upstairs) 3 single beds (two beds can be joined to make a King bed if preferred)
Pequeno Figo
Bed 4 (upstairs) with twin beds (the beds can be joined to make a King bed if preferred)
You will be sent a form a few days after booking which will enable you to indicate your bed preferences.
In addition to the en-suite shower room, there are 2 further bathrooms both of which are on the ground floor and have a bath & overhead shower, basin and toilet.
All of the bedrooms are fitted with panel heaters and the bathrooms have heated towel rails. For the ultimate luxury there is underfloor heating however if you would like to have the benefit of this during your stay you must request it at the time of booking and you will be responsible for any extra costs incurred – these will be based on the additional electricity used.
There is an internal sliding door which, when closed, splits the property into 2 units one of which would be 3 bed and 2 bath and the other a small 1 bed and 1 bath. As the smaller unit has its own kitchen and open plan sitting area it is an ideal space to escape for a bit of quiet time away from large groups. There is also a small log burner in this property.
The property has the benefit of Fibre internet so we would expect you to receive good internet speeds but this is of course subject to the service provider.
Outside you will find a terrace with table and chairs, a very small self fill splash pool and a grass area, all benefitting from wonderful views.

Important Information - please read
- A security/damage deposit of €700.00 will be required in addition to any rental monies
- The deposit (and rental monies if less than 12 weeks to the arrival date) will be charged to your card at the time of booking
- The full rental monies (if not paid at the time of booking) will be charged to your card automatically 12 weeks prior to your arrival date
- The security/damage deposit is refundable on confirmation from the manager that everything is ok with the property and the key/s have been returned to the key safe

- IMPORTANT RE INVOICES – Invoices are created at the time any monies are received and the details included on the invoice will be according to those you enter on the booking page. It is therefore essential you complete this information fully and accurately (your name and address will only print on the invoice if you NIF number is entered) including your company information if an invoice is required in your company name. It WILL NOT be possible to create a revised invoice due to incorrect/incomplete information being entered
- Idyllic Holiday Properties is a UK based company. Non UK cardholders booking with us may be subject to a cross border transaction fee applied by their card issuer. Unfortunately these charges are completely out of our control therefore it is your responsibility to check with your bank/card provider whether this might affect yoo
- There are steep concrete steps leading to the upstairs bedrooms in both Casa do Figo and Pequeno Figo
- The small dipping pool is not filled therefore if you want to use it you will need to fill it using the hose provided
- Due to a serious fire behind the properties opposite, which resulted in residents living on the other side of the hill losing their homes, the use of barbecues is currently prohibited
- The mobile phone signal and internet service in the village can be unpredictable due to the remote location of the property
- On arrival you will find a bottle of wine, a bottle of water and a small welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar/sweetener and milk to enjoy with our compliments
- You will need to provide your own supply of household items (such as washing up liquid, washing detergent, dishwasher tablets, bin bags, toilet tissue etc) as we only provide enough for the first day or so of your stay
- There is parking for 2-3 cars at this property
