Shell Cottage
Shell Cottage is a cosy 1 bed and 1 bath cottage sharing a free form pool – sleeps up to 2.
Shell Cottage is situated towards the top end of Anna Maria Island. It is one of a cluster of 3 cottages sharing the free form pool with waterfall (at most there would be 8 people using the pool). The cottage is extremely well furnished and equipped with everything we hope you would need to enjoy the perfect holiday.
The bedroom has a queen bed and the bathroom is fitted with a bath with overhead shower, basin and WC.
The French doors in the sitting room open out to the pool which is situated in a tropically landscaped garden. You will also find tables, chairs and loungers around the pool.
There is an internal door which connects to Seahorse Cottage therefore making it possible to rent the 2 properties together to accommodate up to 4 people (this door is lockable from both sides to ensure privacy).
The property benefits from off street parking for 1 car. The beautiful white sandy beach is just moments away at the end of the quiet road. There are also numerous restaurants within walking distance and if you wanted to travel further afield on the island the free trolley bus is the ideal way to do this rather than having to use your car.
Important Information - please read
- A security/damage deposit of $300.00 will be required in addition to any rental monies
- Sales and Resort tax (currently totalling 12%) will be applied to the rental price quoted below
- The security/damage deposit (and rental monies if less than 12 weeks to the arrival date) will be charged to your card at the time of booking
- The full rental monies (if not paid at the time of booking) will be charged to your card automatically 12 weeks prior to your arrival date
- The security/damage deposit is refundable on confirmation from the manager that everything is ok with the property and the key/s have been returned to the key safe

- Idyllic Holiday Properties is a UK based company. Non UK cardholders booking with us may be subject to a cross border fee applied by their card issuer. Unfortunately these charges are completely out of our control therefore it is your responsibility to check with your bank/card provider whether this might affect you
- If you have an assisted/support pet, it is essential you advise us immediately so we can allow additional time for cleaning before the next guests arrival
- The french doors leading to the pool are fitted with alarms
- The pool is deep and unfenced
- The pool is shared with the occupants of Starfish and Seahorse Cottages which means there would be a maximum of 8 people using it
- The washing machine, dryer and large fridge/freezer can be found in the garage and these are shared with the occupants of Seahorse Cottage
- Beach towels are provided
- The grill is fuelled by charcoal
- There is off-road parking for 1 car and parking on the road is strictly prohibited (the City of Anna Maria will issue fines for vehicles parked incorrectly)
- We do not provide beach equipment however anything that has been left by previous guests is stored in the cupboard for future guests to use
- You will need to provide your own supply of household items (such as washing up liquid, washing detergent, dishwasher tablets, bin bags, toilet tissue etc) as we only provide enough for the first day or so of your stay
- On arrival you will find a bottle of wine, a bottle of water and a few packets of crisps to enjoy with our compliments however we no longer provide tea, coffee, sugar etc. We will however leave any unopened food items which have been left by previous guests for the next guests to use
- For safety reasons we are not able to provide any baby equipment however there are numerous places on the island where such items car be hired
